School Registration for 2018 Fall Semester


Dear Parents and Students

Here is the registration information for the coming school year of 2018-2019:

Online registration is open, and stays open during the summer break for your convenience.

Onsite registration will only be on August 12, and 19, from 1-4pm, at CHS Greyhound Cafeteria.

Please do your registration at your earliest convenient time to help the school for the resource planning! Thanks!

The first day of Fall semester will be August 12, 2018!  The school calendar is attached.


What’s New:

1. In order to be more flexible, the registration will be for one semester instead of for entire school year.  Online registration will be the main means this time. $20 processing fee will be applied to onsite registration.

For Online registration, the tuition will be able to be paid electronically. Refer to attached ICCCI e-Invoice Tuition Payment Instruction for detail. Please make payment as soon as you can after you receive the e-invoice. There will be $20 penalty if the tuition is not paid within two weeks after school starts (deadline: 8/26/2018).

2. Cartoon Arts and 手工艺术课 are no longer to be provided..

3. Singing Classes will have a limit: 15 students for Singing class 1, 12 students for Singing 2.

4. Javascript for Beginner class will have a limit of 12 students.  Visit website with the first link in Section 1 below for the curriculum

5. Java for Beginner class will have a limit of 8 students.  Visit website with the first link in Section 1 below for the curriculum

6. Drawing 1, the tuition fee will be changed to $150 per semester.

7. Chinese Calligraphy "Curriculum" is changed, visit website with the first link in Section 1 below.

8. Photo Editing is changed to Digital Art & Graphic Design.  Visit website with the first link in Section 1 below for the                      curriculum.

Section 1 -Class Registration with two options: Online or Onsite

Note: The tuition listed in the website is for one semester.

a. Online Registration

The online registration is open now.  Instruction for online registration is available on the ICCCI website at http://www.indy-chinese. com/index.php?option=com_ content&view=article&id=548& Itemid=69&lang=us .

b. Onsite Registration

Onsite registration will be held on August 12 and 19 only from 1 to 4pm at Carmel High School Greyhound Cafeteria.  Please bring your check book (no cash, no credit card) to make payments during registration. Note: there will be $20 processing fee for onsite registration. Online registration is highly recommended.

c. Textbooks

The teacher for each class will be handing out the textbooks to his/her students directly in the classroom on the first day of school. 


Section 2 - Checklist for Tuition Payment

1. Complete online or onsite registration

2. Complete electronic payment after receive e-invoice for online registration as mentioned in “What’s new” section;

3. Sign Student Release Consent Form (NEW students only),onsite registration only;

4. Complete Email Address Update Form (NEW students only), onsite registration only;

5. Read the tuition refund rule for changes/withdrawal from classes (attached);

6. Calculate the total amount for tuition fees due for your family, and write one check payable to ICCCI for Tuition, onsite registration only;

7. Every family needs to pay $50.00 Parent Duty Deposit. If this is your first time to register for ICCCI school, you need to pay the $50.00 deposit; if you have paid the deposit last year, and also have performed Parent Duty twice in the 2017-2018 school year, then you don’t need to pay the $50.00 deposit this time.  (For those only enrolled for one semester last year, you only need to perform Parent Duty once). If you failed to perform the required number of Parent Duty in school year of 2017-2018, you will receive a separate bill of $50 or $100 for skipping either one or two duties, respectively.  All the parent duty Security deposit bills will be sent to those families electronically wiht e-invoice after school start.

8. Keep receipts for your record.



Section 3 - Parent Duty Sign up

Each family is required to perform one time parent duty in each semester, and twice per school year.  $50 full refund can only be made after your parent duty is well served according to your sign up.

-Parents, who have performed the required number of parent duty, don't need to pay the fee again, and the $50 credit will be transferred to the student for the next school year.  If a parent fails to perform the parent duty requirement, the $50 deposit will be forfeited, and he/she needs to pay another $50 during the next school year registration. For those parents fails the two required duties per school year, he/she needs to pay another $100 during the next school year registration, and previous $50 will be forfeited.

- A security slip will be issued to parents one week following the completion of parent duty for those parents that students will not attend the ICCCI Chinese School next semester.
