ICCCI中文学校2017-1018学年开始注册

Dear Parents and Students: 

Here is the registration information for the coming school year of 2017-2018: Online registration is open, and stays open during the summer break for your convenience. Onsite registration will be on May 7, from 1-4pm, at CHS Greyhound Cafeteria. Please do your registration at your earliest convenient time to help the school for the resource planning! Thank you! The first day of Fall semester will be August 20, 2017! The Fall 2017 School calendar will be followed in a separate email once it is approved by Carmel High School.



What’s New

1) To reduce the work load for registration, the School Administration has decided to change the registration from once a semester to once a year, including both semesters of Fall 2017 and Spring 2018.  This change is based on the fact that most students will remain for the entire school year.  For the Chinese language classes if using Jinan textbooks, the tuition will be $300 if paid in full at the beginning of the school year, or $160 each at the beginning of the semester if paid in two installments. For the tuition of the other classes including the after-school programs, please visit website:
2) Chinese Language class Level 11 will be offered;
3) New after-school classes: 琵琶 (Pipa lute) 和柳琴 (Liuqin, a plucked stringed musical instrument), the teacher’s CV (老师简历) and class curriculum (课程介绍) are attached and also can be found in the same website mentioned above;
4)   Singing Classes 1 and 2, Java I and II all have new curriculum for next school year, please visit the website mentioned above.

Section 1 -Class Registration with two options: Online or Onsite
To view all Language and after-school classes offered for the school year of 2017-2018, please visit the same website mentioned above:
a. Online Registration
The online registration is open now.  There is a $20 discount if you choose online registration. This discount will only apply to Chinese language classes. For example, for the classes using Jinan textbooks, it will be $280 if paid in full or $150 each at the beginning of the semester if paid in two installments.
Instruction for online registration is available on the ICCCI website at http://www.indy-chinese. com/index.php?option=com_ content&view=article&id=548& Itemid=69&lang=us .  After submit the registration, please click on "my registrations" and print "my registrations" to prove your registration if you have printer available.
Please bring your payment (in check) to school on May 7 from 1 to 4pm at Carmel High School Greyhound Cafeteria, or bring your payment (in check) to school on Aug.20, the first day of Fall semester 2017.
b. Onsite Registration
If you prefer onsite registration, please do so on May 7 from 1 to 4pm at Carmel High School Greyhound Cafeteria.  Please bring your check book (no cash, no credit card) to make payments during registration.  There is no discount for onsite registration.
c. Textbooks
The teacher for each class will be handing out the textbooks to his/her students directly in the classroom on the first day of school. 

Section 2Tuition Discount for Language Classes
There is a $20 discount for online registration, applying for language classes only.
There is no discount for after-school classes.

Section 3 - Checklist for Tuition Payment
1. Complete online or onsite registration
2. Sign Student Release Consent Form (NEW students only) on site.   
3. Complete Email Address Update Form (NEW students only)  
4. Read the tuition refund rule for changes/withdrawal from classes (attached);
5. Calculate the total amount for tuition fees due for your family
6. Write one check payable to ICCCI for Tuition (for onsite registration)
7. Write a separate check of $50.00 payable to ICCCI for Parent Duty Deposit, or turn in the voucher authorized by Eugene Zhen, the Security director of ICCCI school administration.
8. Keep receipts issued for your record.

Section 4 - Parent Duty Sign up
Each family is required to perform one time parent duty in each semester.  $50 full refund can only be made after your parent duty is well served according to your sign up.
-Parents, who have performed parent duty once per semester, don't need to pay the fee again, and the $50 credit will be transferred to the student for the next school year.  If a parent fails to perform the parent duty requirement, the $50 deposit will be forfeited, and he/she needs to pay another $50 during the next school year registration. For those parents fails the two required duties per school year, he/she needs to pay another $100 during the next school year registration, and $50 will be forfeited.
- A security slip will be issued to parents one week following the completion of parent duty for those parents that students will not attend the ICCCI Chinese School next semester.  $50 refund will be issued to you with the evidence of the security slip.
