Dragon and Lion Dance Group

Dragon and Lion Dance Group The ICCCI dragon and lion dance group was created to promote the traditional Chinese culture to all people in Central Indiana for a vivid multi-culture community landscape. This group has about 60 volunteers of various ethnic backgrounds who have the passion and enthusiasm in promoting the Chinese culture to local people. It has two lions (one Southern lion and one Northern lion) and two dragons (one operated by 10 people and the other by 20). The ICCCI dragon and lion dance group has performance schedules all year long. It has been invited to perform at Indy 500 Parade, International Festival at State Fairground, Indiana Festival at Conner Prairie, Chinese Community Spring Festival , Eli Lilly and Company Culture Diversity Celebration, Children Museum, Indianapolis Museum of Arts, Columbus International Festival, Kokomo Ethnic Festival, and other performances at local school and community cultural events.
