What's new in the enrollment for Spring 2010:

1. For return students: No forms need to be filled out. Please check and update your existing information upon registration. There is an email update form if you want to change your email address. Sign to accept the school tuition refund policy including $10 non-refundable processing fee.

2. The current CSL 3 class will merge into a level 2 class with a bilingual teaching method in order to help the students to learn Chinese. The teacher will focuse on the student's needs. Please come to talk to the school administrator at the registration desk if you have any questions.

3. The tuition fee for CSL adult class is adjusted to $150 per semester.

4. The new Olympic Math program - Problem Solving: 3-4 pm for grade 3 to 4, and 4-5 pm for grade 5 to 6. Tuition fee is $120 per semester if pre-registered.

5. New After-School program: Basic Go game ( in Chinese: Wei Qi: 围棋), will be instructed by MS Yinli Wang, who is a Go player in the US team and has 5 years of teaching experience in Virginia. She is 6 dan, one of the top female players in the US. MS Wang's biography and her certifications are attached.

6. Singing class, both Chinese and English songs will be instructed next semester by MS Helen Wang. The students will participate in Choir for Chinese New Year Celebration. 

The Parents will not need to write a security deposit check for after-school programs but are required to show-up on their assigned duty date when they are notified by email, such as Chess-1 and 2, Chinese GongFu etc.

Pre-registration for Spring Semester 2010 will be held on the following Sundays at the Chinese School at Carmel High School cafeteria:

• November 22
• December 13
• December 20 ( last day for pre-registration)

New Registration Procedure:

• Only NEW students need to complete the registration forms. Forms are attached and also available at the registration desk

• For returning students, you will need to verify and do appropriate changes in the pre-printed registration information document at the registration desk
• 
  
• All the parents will be asked to sign to accept the refund policy

School Fees for Spring semester 2010 for both new and returning students: 
( $20 discount for pre-registration of each Chinese Language class and after-school enrichment program)
