The Indianapolis Chinese Orchestra was founded in May 2010 by three couples from the Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis.  They initially called themselves Music in the Family.  Led by Master Ka Leung Ching, who is a skilled performer of these traditional Chinese musical instruments,  has helped this group blossom into an ensemble consisting of many unique and traditionally ancient Chinese musical instruments.  During the past year and a half, the orchestra has grown in membership, roughly 40 in total, with 20 active and regularly participating members.
